Kayyyy second last chapter, here we go! One more!
My sleep cycle is heading west. I’m not sure how to stop it, or even if I want to chase after it. Maybe I’ll try and catch it when it comes back from the east.
I forgot what else I was going to say here. I had things, but they’re gone now.
I’m not sure why I put in the long introduction to this chapter, with Ephraim waking up and everything. Maybe a bit of a breather, before these intense chapters? But they’re not quite as intense as they should be, because Ephraim is very pragmatic and while he’s a bit temperamental, he’s not very demonstrative in this story. Oh, who am I kidding? He’s kind of a boring protagonist when I write him. He’s more interesting than this! I promise you! : P
Someone pointed out the fact that if no one dies, it’s not very tense. Unfortunately it’s a fic based on a game in which it is possible to save every single party member except in cutscenes, so… I’m savin’ ’em.
Also Eirika’s Story is really, really terrible at this corresponding point. I would not suggest reading it ever again. : P This story may not be genius, but it’s better than Eirika’s… I matched it up to the new Frelia’s Finest instead. Thank you, Someone, for teaching me how to write combat better than before.
