So! Hrulash doesn’t exactly have a wide range of expressions. But if you can figure out what the different combinations of his facial features mean, you might get a tiny bit closer to understanding how he reacts to things and thus how he thinks.

…Because I can’t talk enough about this most demanding and pushy of muses (Hrulash: …….), I am now going to explain some of his more notable expressions. The others are just variations on these.
Serious: his default expression.
Bereft: DON’T MURDER HIS FAMILY HE DOESN’T LIKE IT
Rage: omg his rageface I LOVE HIS RAGEFACE Kyaaaaaaa so dramatic!
Fear has been upgraded to Terror, as Xanda is coming at him with a bear trap, an inflatable porpoise, and five lemons. (or something.)
Pleased: he doesn’t actually smile, but if you’re watching closely, you’ll see his expression lighten, just a bit.
Silly: Hrulash doesn’t do ‘silly’, so it’s been upgraded to ‘self-deprecating’, which is another important Hrulash expression. That tiny little smile of self-loathing… AND HE HAS DIMPLES WHO KNEW
Happy: STILL HAS DIMPLES
Flirty: Hrulash doesn’t flirt. He just awkwardly watches the girl he’s currently interested in, secretly hoping she’ll come talk to him in a totally not-awkward way.
Triumph: is a bit deranged. Was going for even more deranged, but my skills don’t match up to my imagination. Still, it’s made up for by:
Hysterical, which is the upgrade of Drunk (which was pretty boring for Hrulash). That’s blood all over his face. Most of it is not his. (dimples still in force even when insane.) (Hrulash: will you shut up about the dimples? This is why I never smile! Stars…)
