I had to learn how to draw eagle beaks! And wings, but I’m still crap at those. The lineart is handdrawn and inked on marker paper, and then digitally coloured.

Page 3 was terrifying and stalled me for months. : P This is why I don’t do webcomics anymore: it’s taken me 7 months to draw these 4 pages and I only finished because of my adventure that I’m going on literally tomorrow. : P

I thought colouring it digitally would make things faster; turns out it still takes 2 hours per page. Also Corel Painter doesn’t understand the concept of ‘sharpen’, so the text looks awful in page 1, sorry. Corel Painter is also bad at resizing things that involve layers so that’s why page 2 looks weird. (after that I figured out how to fix it.)
