Sorry to put something this silly on the front page, but this is the last page in my mini-sketchbook. I don’t know if it overlaps with my next big sketchbook, but I don’t care right now. I will have minis up tomorrow. It’s a close up of Sain from the Fire Emblem Alan Parsons Project Band!

Ceniro from behind
I was inspired to draw Ceniro’s cloak and make it really realistic-looking. I’m rather pleased at the result, though his shoulders are way too broad.
Have you hugged your tactician today? pt. 4
I like this picture. My brother thinks it’s dumb, of course. Ceniro’s leg is pretty thin, but it looks cool!
I think this could be more called Have you glomped your tactician today?
Have you hugged your tactician today? pt. 3
Oh, Hector. How silly you are. And how much you don’t know your own strength.
Remember, a bruised tactician is not always an effecient tactician!
Thank goodness for cloaks. They make drawing slightly easier.
Have you hugged your tactician today? pt. 2
Eliwood is not the hugging type, except when Ninian is involved, and then he likes sweeping her off her feet anyway. So, they both turned out pretty good in this picture. Except Eliwood’s hair is a bit not poofy enough. And I can’t do hands.
Have you hugged your tactician today? pt. 1
Ceniro gets a little appreciation for this and the next three pictures! I look terrrrrrible, and I couldn’t get Ceniro to look down right. And I’m not THAT short. I should be up to his eyebrows at least. I guess I shrank. I do that a lot, though apparently not when I’m wearing heels! >_<
Pent and Louise
I decided to draw this picture for the sole reason that Pent and Louise from Fire Emblem 7 make a very good looking couple, and are obviously completely devoted to each other. I’d guess that Pent is about 30, and Louise is maybe 25 (so that means according to my reckoning, they’ve been married about 11 years). Anyway, celeb gossip aside (Pent is the Mage General of Etruria) I used both sprites and official artwork for reference, and that didn’t help me with Louise because the only artwork I could find was a tiny little image about 150 by 300 pixels or so. So, her clothing and especially hair are not nearly as good as they could be, and I tried several times. Pent came out pretty good first try. I’m fascinated by the fact that his son, Klein, looks EXACTLY like him except with shorter, blonde hair.
Ceniro Sprites
Aaaaah, I should have put this up long ago. Isn’t Ceniro great? I’m awful at battle sprites, but here it looks pretty good. (The movie, however, does not). Still, he looks rather cute in the talk-sprite, even if the hair is not really professional-looking. And the little sprite all on its own is a finished image. It’s just the frames of actual fighting are not.
Sain and Salir
Happy Valentine’s Day! About six months late… This is Salir, I guess, and Sain in the corner, and I drew it for Valentine’s Day. Salir’s body is too big for her head, and that’s why she looks wierd. I’m not sure… I think Salir’s hair is shorter somehow… I never have a clear picture of what she looks like, just how she acts.
Kent and Sain
This picture is of Kent and Sain, on deformed horses. I never have any idea what size horses are supposed to be. Epona in Twilight Princess is gloriously massive, but this is pre-TP, and horses aren’t my specialty anyway. In fact, this is a pretty bad picture.
And seriously, I didn’t know how to draw knees consistently, if at all. When I find out, I ‘ll let you know.
Anyway, hooray for Kent and Sain!
Also, they’re wielding the opposite weapons of their character art on purpose.
