I think I was reading too much Tsubasaaaaaaaaa……
So Link looks like an idiot. Hooray… Actually his hair is a bit shiny, but it’s way too long.

I needed to draw Link again, so I did. It didn’t turn out that well, though. It’s not from any specific part of anything, though it’s clearly from Ocarina. His eye turned out pretty bad for once.
New characters!!! Sort of.
The lad on the left is the new and improved version of Firefly, who then found his Kalma’eiric name Lyrestan. He’s Flaer’s little brother, if you didn’t remember, and the only other picture of him is all the way back here. (ugh) The lass on the right is Kyliralessa, or maybe Kylyralessa but that looks stupid. It means Golden-haired Gull, and she’s the new and improved version of this little princess.
And yes, they are madly in love. Yay! I greatly admire Lyrestan’s hair in this one. It’s so smooth and shiny.
Now Zela is showing off… badly… Again, I didn’t draw enough curve in the back as a whole. I’m not doing too good on the shading either.
“This sure is a family of acrobats” I wrote on the bottom of the page.
Um… I think Flairé is trying to impersonate a top, but I tried too hard on the corkscrew so it didn’t turn out. His face is too sharp and the sword is too small, even pointing directly at the camera. The only part of this that I like is perhaps the hair and the shadow his scabbard makes on his tunic-skirt.
Of course, no fantasy story is complete without Romance. So Ron falls in love with Marialla.
This was drawn from a rather funny sequence involving Flairé and Dungeons and Dragons.
Flairé: What do you mean? All sequences with me in them are funny.
Yeah, but this one was extra funny. Here’s how it was.
Dungeon: Room 1: Jervis is hallucinating fighting dragons solo.
Room 2: Marialla is overcome with terror at seeing her reflection reflected a million zillion times.
Room 3: Dwarf Wiz’s energy is completely drained and he can’t move an inch.
Room 4: Flairé decides he’d better not go in, as the Dungeon Master has just pointed out that we’re losing one party member per room, and in a predictable pattern. Ron is the only one unaffected. So Flairé tries to be prudent and my brother drags him into the room anyway, using wierd enchantments. And yeah, Flairé can fall asleep fast when bored.
Um….? I did more Flairé fanart. Jumbled around in random connexion to each other. I think I started with the one that’s sitting on a flat surface, right in the middle.
Flairé: I want more clothes, please!
Then, before I did the hair, I did the big head behind him. So the hair never got done. Super shading happened, but not very convincingly. Then I did a head with pretty hair and a sword, except that little bit is pretty awful compared to Flairé. I think Flaria stole his sword and is masquerading as her brother. Down at the bottom is Zela on the left and Flairé on the right (Flaer I was not interested in at this time, despite being an older copy of the same person. You will know instantly when I became interested in Flaer again, in some months). The point of those two was to illustrate the subtle difference between a kalla (woman elf) and a kalma (man elf). They both have slender waists and hips and shoulders, but the kalla has the slightest bit of a curve to her chest. So that settled that problem.
I wanted to draw Flairé in a super-cool action pose, kicking right at the ‘camera’. I guess at the viewer. But it didn’t work because of, as usual, anatomy. I drew a little sketch from the side, but that didn’t work either. Nice hair, though, even if it’s blowing around a bit too crazily. Makes his head look big. Still, you may notice the tunic design for Zela’s family is nearing its current form!
I decided that I really need to figure out how people are shaped. And given my new obsession with Flairé, it’s completely unsurprising that he’s here. The other girl is just a random girl with a fabulous body and hair. And she can dance. If I looked like her I think I might, just maybe, actually be happy with the way I looked. (smaller chest requested, though). Oh, well.
Flairé: Other… girl? Not you, too.
Sorry. The other person who is a girl. Yeah. And Flairé himself looks rather dorky here.
Flairé: Don’t ever draw me in my underclothes again.
Will do. Your feet are rather small.
Flairé: No kidding.
