Okay, this is just getting silly. Being teased with all this shirtless Aiden action on Wayrift… made me want to draw him.
This is for the Wayrift Halloween challenge… it’s Lyrestan (Flaer’s younger brother, the ‘white prince’ type) dressed as Holland (who also happens to be a prince, who knew?) from the webcomic Strays which is a pretty amazing webcomic if I say so myself. It has shapeshifters! And intrigue! And a 12 year old bratty heroine who is actually really compelling! Although I thought she was a boy for like a month. And a wolf-guy who can’t talk, but is a brilliant fighter.
And Holland, who is hilariously giddy and makes the best faces.(I like to think he’s like Flairé except he’s short and also a swan-shapeshifter.)
This artist also draws the Puddlebunnies, which make Leslie melt into a puddlebunny herself… Example, example, example.
Here is a shamefully-quick picture of Artemis, Tab’s OC from her big story. All I know is that she’s a girl descended from something like vampires and Erzabet Balthoroy or whatever her name is – that crazy lady – except different. And she’s from BC. And she moves to England. And then she finds out her mom is a vampire too. And then she meets a cute boy. And then she struggles with her unnatural vampiristic desires while playing Dragon Age. And that’s all I know because Tab never sent me the end of the story.
She started turning it into a webcomic (as yet unpublished) and it’s really good. Man can that girl art. Her people! Vehicles! Buildings!
But I am too tired from train-going to paint properly, so here is a disproportionate scribble. : (

This is Henry from LinT and Lintier and The Illusionist’s Apprentice, and he is a human apprenticed to a powerful elven illusionist named Teitnl (The Evil Illusionist That Nobody Likes) (except for the fangirls). He’s a fairly minor character in the LinTverse as a whole, but an interesting one.
I’m practicing my ability to draw anime-styled hair, and also cell-shading. That’s why it looks so wierd. Also, Colby is the only one who can really draw Henry properly. : P
I may do this again with ‘real’ shading. : P Because abruptly I hate this picture.
I drew a cyclist! This one turned out much better than Ryder’s… maybe I’d better do another one of Ryder. Can’t have too much cyclist fanart, neh? Anyway, this is Sylvain Chavanel, French cyclist and cutie. Last year, he apparently cracked his head open early in the season, and recovered in time to solo to a great victory on Stage 3 (hilly, rainy, crashy) of the TdF; took yellow, and then Stage 4 lost it because the poor guy had THREE flat tires on the cobble stage. Not as bad as Franch Schleck, but still unlucky. Then less than a week later, did another terrific solo ride up a huge mountain, and took yellow again. And then lost it the next day on an even bigger mountain because he’d spent so much energy the day before. C’est la vie, I guess. But that stage – Stage 9, if I recall correctly – had Cadel taking yellow, Andy winning the stage and being in second, and Ryder in THIRD so that was probably my favourite stage, despite Chavanel losing yellow. Doing another picture of Ben from Wayrift. Better, this time, although sadBen doesn’t have as much hair as rarBen. But I’m not redoing it because even that took forever. Or maybe it just feels like forever because the right side of my head is stuffed up.
