The guy on the left is Fweiiless, a Griffonlander elf. He’s actually a bad guy. Gullac is the one on the right, and Gullac is… Gullac.
I realized today that it has been a long time since I drew Flairé. So, random fanservice for ye.
Hee! The Sygnus fans got together and sekritly made a calender for Wren and Syn, and I drew February. You should see the other pages! They are completely fantastic and beautiful. I will probably link to the calender when it appears on Zazzle. I hope it’s available in Canada?
Gyoriing takes Layalin, and Zento takes YuKai on a double date. But Zento can’t help flirting with shy Layalin… Good thing everyone knows he’s not serious! : D
Zento was totally a creeper the first time I tried him: Not his fault, but hair just can’t go in front of his eyes. My fellow conspirators and I had a good laugh over that… but it also meant he was the last one to get finished, because he was being difficult. : P
Also if he had that expression on his face when talking to Layalin, he would probably get flattened by Gyoriing a half-second later…
Oh, and I also resized both my kalmaei and Wren’s Nefolians, because Gyoriing is 7’6″… Layalin is about 6’8″… and Zento is, what, 5’2″ and YuKai 4’10”??? That wouldn’t work at all! So sorta a little AU in that they are the same height frame. : D
Well! This is the result of several hours of silliness. But the end result was that Tharash turned Flairé into a crowtiger griffon. XD Flairé was super excited and spent about an hour bouncing around asking people if they wanted a ride. Jayce actually took him up on it! (not depicted: Jayce or his terror at Flairé’s reckless flying)

I cannot for the life of me do a ‘painting’ look. Dangit!
Trying out my new markers. They’re no better and no worse than the old ones of the same brand, although for a moment I was very impressed for some reason. I forget what the reason was, because you can see how well they work on shading large areas. : P
Also there is no orangey-pinky-brown, so no skin colours for us! D :
People who’ve been following the Rifted Riders RP on the Wayrift forums will quickly figure out what’s going on here… What is going on here is that the Baronian versions of Hrulash and Tseo (on the left) have met the Adhemlenei versions of themselves on the right, and are either chagrined, mirthful, friendly, or disdainful, as the case may be.
I thought it was a cute idea.
Oh, about the Rifted Riders? Basically, Tseo and Hrulash are young dragon-knights-in-training. Tseo’s a little ahead of Hrulash (and they have their respective partners, still, Hoarwilk and Garekhen). Hrulash is a straight-laced patronizing cranky un-self-confident kid who thinks he just got into the Dragon Knights because of Tseo and Garekhen (yeah, being friends with a dragon would help A LOT, ya think?) and as a result is desperately searching for a way to prove that he’s a good knight, not just a pencil-pusher with a dragon. He and Garry are my mains. Garry’s just a jolly ol’ dragon who wants to see his partner unbend a little. Tseo and Hoarwilk are my NPCs.
Well, this is going to be the other half of the picture I started last time. Still quite rough; even more rough than the last one. But yes, it is Gullac, being a shameless flirt. As usual. : P His hair is so hard! It’s going to be even harder to shade!
And then! Busy day tomorrow! If you happen to be near the Paul Davenport Theatre at around 8:00 tomorrow, you should go inside and listen to us and some other people make African music. It will be super cool.

Sometimes you have to solve your own problems. In this case the problem seems to be a lack of shirtless boys, but IRL shirtless boys make me uncomfortable, so I’m not entirely sure what that means.

Fantastic choir rehearsal today! Everyone should come to the concert on Saturday because it’s going to knock your socks off.
This is for the Wayrift Halloween challenge… it’s Lyrestan (Flaer’s younger brother, the ‘white prince’ type) dressed as Holland (who also happens to be a prince, who knew?) from the webcomic Strays which is a pretty amazing webcomic if I say so myself. It has shapeshifters! And intrigue! And a 12 year old bratty heroine who is actually really compelling! Although I thought she was a boy for like a month. And a wolf-guy who can’t talk, but is a brilliant fighter.
And Holland, who is hilariously giddy and makes the best faces.(I like to think he’s like Flairé except he’s short and also a swan-shapeshifter.)
This artist also draws the Puddlebunnies, which make Leslie melt into a puddlebunny herself… Example, example, example.
