Oh well. Drew this last night when I was rather tired. Maybe I’ll try again today, because Menad is somewhat important as a character. Also he’s pretty. In fact, if you mistook him for a girl, I won’t blame you. But he will. Although he’s terribly vain. Whatever.
Um. Really wanting to draw tonight, but everything is coming out not so good. Must have exhausted my creativity for a bit… or maybe I’m not pushing myself hard enough. Either or. : P
Anyway, this is supposed to be Bayn, but he’s pretty elusive and it’s probably not actually a very good picture of him.

Click for insanity. Yeah, I kinda ran out of inspiration at the end… and one of the words is maybe not wholly PG, but some of them are not too bad. I like the one of Math defending me from EbilTam. Also the one where Flairé has to marry someone came out pretty much how I wanted it too, but the one of Flairé and Marteth camping I wish I’d been able to do better. Maybe I’ll just do it as a picture sometime.
So that’s what I’ve been doing instead of writing or anything useful.

Bit of clarification anyway… Layalin isn’t joking when she says she’s going to die too – kalmaeirin elves have a heart condition that means they can literally break their hearts when they lose someone particularly dear to them. Of course, it would not be the fault of a car crash. : P
Working on the hilarious 10 character meme. You can probably guess at the answers if you know it already… but they might not be what you expect! I thought some of these turned out rather well. Probably stolen from Colby, but it’s been so long I’ve forgotten. I only just got around to it. : P
Also editting Chapter 2 of the novel. Split it into two chapters, so Tam’s moment of glory is now in Chapter 3. Chapter 2 is still veeeery rough. Not happy with most of it. I may need to chop it out and rewrite it by itself a few times. Wondering how Chapter 3 will go, since I’ve never written it before. Flaer made a long internal monologue about how useless anger is… and then flips out at a dragon for being stupid. What a silly boy.
What else? Um, not much. Obsessing unhealthily over my DevArt. Added like five bazillion pictures to my favourites. Guess I should add more of my own stuff. I think I will stick to colour stuff, because the pencil stuff is not so impressive. More or less. If there’s something on Adhemlenei you think I should post on DevArt, tell me. : P
Also dug up my Tour links again in preparation for a couple weeks from now… Go Andy! And Cadel! And Ryder! Okay, I guess I can wait until it actually gets going. It’s gonna be amazing on the new TV.

I always have trouble painting Tam. He is so eclectic, hard to pin down, both in physical space and in imagery… so I got someone else to do it! And Sarah is amaaaazing. (also, fast. She did this in like three days, omg) She got every detail that I specified, and added more!! (omg sexy belt)
One problem – Tam’s a male elf, thank you very much. I see a few people are confused about this. He’s built, for an elf, that’s all. XD
EDIT: They’re still not convinced. Oh well. Can’t please everyone. But I should probably thank them because replying to them led to me joining DevArt. : P

Flaria! The next one on the painting list I made a while ago… Not my best, but not too bad either. I mean, it resembles Flaria. I am starting to see small problems with it; I may tweak it later and re-upload it.
My dragon CD is in today! I shall go and pick it up. I shall also play some Ocarina, and visit the university, and practice Gershwin. And maybe paint another painting. Next on the list is Bayn. He’s always a tricky one, because he looks a lot like his uncle. I should upload the Lunaii dolls I’ve made recently, too.

I don’t like the new Caspian movie. But it looks nice on our new TV.
I am trying to cut down on my computer time. But it’s hard. Yesterday I did reread the entire The Robe, a historical fiction novel that’s about 600 pages long. It’s pretty good, in my opinion. Today I got through two chapters in my Sweet Anticipation (music psychology) book. Only two more to go! Then I think it’s high time I reread LotR because it’s been a while. A long while.
More Flaer. Prettier to look at than the two previous lunatics, right? Though maybe not as pretty as Zela. Anyway, I just remembered that I actually have a nice picture of Flaer for his bio page, so I will maybe colour that today and then the two pictures can fight it out for the privilege of actually being on his page. : P
