So, I tried drawing my Mom again, with the cute ponytail, while actually looking at her. She was reading the newspaper and didn’t notice ^_^. Even more in blatent anime style, but it turned out much better except… uh… well, my only excuse for the tiny waist is that below the shoulders is not very important to me so I don’t draw it very well! She said (after having seen it) that she should use it as an example of what she wants to look like… : P Whatever.

Running Mom
One day my Mom put her hair up in a cute little ponytail on the top of her head after she had finished her exercise for the day, so I drew it. In anime style. Not very well.
For the Cows!!
Hahaha! This is based on a Harvest Moon/Zelda crossover thing-y. See, in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, there is a ‘mad scientist’ called Daryl. And if you talk to him while he’s looking into your field, he will mutter something about experiments and cows. Sooo…. if your farmer happens to be named Link, he’s not going to be too happy about that! My brother repeatedly tried to attack Daryl with a scythe, but all Daryl said was “I told you, I don’t want that!!” He ain’t tryin’ to give it to ya, buddy! …So Link is somewhat more effective. And chibi. ^_^
I also greatly enjoy this fictional sequence…
Tim (the son): Daddy! Diaper! Pee!
Roy: AAAAAAAAH!! (runs away)
Daryl, spying from some distance away: So that’s how a new father would react…

FOR THE COWS!!!!
Will Stutely, anime style
M’kay, now I tried drawing Will Stutely of Robin Hood fame in a style more familiar to me because I was frustrated with the first one.
This one is waaaay better looking. In fact, he’s quite adorable.
Will Stutely – sort of
I read Robin Hood, by Paul Creswick, illustrated by N.G. Wyeth, again. I think it’s a very good novelization/adaptation/whatever you want to call it. There are several people whose first name is William, though, and Will Stutely Robin’s right hand is chief among them in this book. I imagine he’s quite the cutie, but unfortunately this attempt at un-referenced realism, especially with the mussed black hair, failed.

Alex Rowe sketch
Um, this is the angsty bishounen hero of Last Exile, the anime series that my friend Lesley showed me (Lesley, not Leslie).
The picture is not great, but it’s a sketch.
Wedge Antilles
I adore X-wings, as has been said, so I tried to draw the best pilot of them all: Wedge Antilles… but it didn’t come out because I didn’t use a reference.
Whatever. It’s generic X-wing pilot #1. ^_^;
Teh Mystic Snowboarder
I’m not sure how this character came to be, but one day my brother started chanting “mystic snowboarder! Mystic snowboarder!” and it piqued my interest enough to draw it. So, yeah, a Dungeons and Dragons snowboarder wizard with a magic ski-pole staff.
I have never skiied or snowboarded.
The thing around his neck is an Egyptian ankh.
Rage
Um, this is me, with a nice haircut, very upset. And I forgot my glasses. I only just realized that, after more than a year. O_O7 Odd. This is one of my mom’s favourite pictures, because of the shading. This is the work of my then-new super art markers! I used every single one in shading my irises.
